FELIX DICKINSON

Felix Dickinson has been DJing and producing music for over 17 years

Felix has been producing records under a string of aliases including Foolish and Sly, Das Etwas and The Mythical Beasts to name a few. Most recently he’s been remixing for Jazzy Sport, Far Out and D.J. History; and his new project Fisting Club with Gerry Rooney (Black Cock) will be due for release in 2009.

His D.J.ing has taken him as far as America, Japan, Australia, Sweden, Greece, Poland, Austria, France, Finland and Hawaii as well as playing at Glastonbury with the New York Downlow.

A.D

Originally hailing from Cambridge, A.D was involved in the Tonka crew of the late eighties. A.D later moved to Brighton and has been involved in numerous projects over the years. A.D has an impeccable taste in music and we are all looking forward to having him join Felix for a 5 hour set.

The venue is in a recently dis-used club behind the shacklwell arms pub. Walk down the side of the pub and you will see the door on the left hand side.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM SHOREDITCH AREA YOU CAN GET A 149, 243, get off at the top of Kingsland rd (just passed Dalston train station) then swing a right at the Nandos on the corner - walk down shacklewell lane a few hundred yards and the venue is on the left - looks like a ropey old Jamaican boozer from outside.

This space is amazing and can only be described as Tropical in a very sleazed out way. Also has a nice Jamaican beer garden or the smokers.
