The excitement is building up steadily here at the Big Disco HQ sepecially when you have guests like these on board the Disco train;

Future Sound of Clapton (Comadisco/Samurai FM)

http://www.myspace.com/fsoc
http://www.samurai.fm/fsoc

FSoC was born 4 years ago on a dark night in the heavily claustrophobic and chemically-charged mist of Hackney marshes. The bastard child of Techno-Electro-Disco heads DJ's Fumix and Marco, its birth was an "accident" that sparked a string of underground parties in East-London, a regular show on Samurai.fm together with gigs as far as Poland, Italy, Singapore and Japan, and many, many, many Monday morning hangovers! FSoC's latest extravaganza is "Comadisco", their bi-monthly night in Dalston with guests such as Trevor Jackson, Ben Bloodbath, Mugwump, Popnoname, Allez Allez etc..., steadily gaining popularity amongst like-minded souls.With some remix work and their own production in the pipeline, watch these guys blow up.

Loose
http://www.myspace.com/loosekids

Paul Crognale and Cred are crate digging, music lovers having run parties in London since 2000 such as classic electro night Scand, and eclectic club night Kai-zen, before creating Loose in 2005. Loose has grown into one of the best London parties, having stamped its sweaty marks on the East End at places like Alhambra, East Village and The Hub over the last year. Loose now has a bi-monthly residency at strip club Platinum inviting luminaries like Aeroplane, Joakim, Pete Herbert, Maelstrom, Greg Wilson, SoundStream, Maurice Fulton & Phoreski amongst many others. 2008 has also seen Loose hosting the disco room at two Secret Sundaze parties, two Immigrant Records parties and guesting at various other nights. Confirmed bookings for 2009 are already coming in and will see Loose taking rooms at Deep, Down and Dirty, Polaroid in Leeds and Rhino’s in Southampton… We dig all things brass, block and bell and of course bangs, bleeps and beats. Musical influence comes from early 80’s New York, late 80’s Detroit & Chicago, mid 70’s Philadelphia, and of course Italians, Germans, French and the Brits had a hand in our taste shaping. Loose is about having a laugh and jumping about to disco, house music, and funk.

A brilliant summermix from our friends at Loose, enjoy...

Moustache Mama’s

http://www.myspace.com/moustachemamas

There is no denying it, the Moustache is becoming the new mullet, the modern cowboy boot, the sideburn for the urban fashionista…The Moustache Mamas don’t leave home without one - Always trimmed to perfection & and waxed just right. For most it is a statement of cool, but for others it is a statement of their history, and a physical embodiment of their very soul.

Comprising their many years of vinyl collecting under one gambit of muscle, the Mamas let loose with a special blend of classic disco, dirty funk, syncopated pop favourites, new-disco & a bit of yacht-rock (for the landlocked). Delivering Jump-suited genius and armed with disco-demons that unleash themselves when these two ladies unite: Helen Burnip & Tamara Deike – A Northerner, and a North American – they hold their own (and their cocktails). With influences that span from the southern Americas to the musical fusions of folk with energy and political aggression from the north, the Mamas have tackled social issues of femme-facial hair through their love of music.

The Mamas are known to breakout in energetic Jane Fonda-esque lunging behind the decks & incite moustached madness from dance floor goers and demand you to bring your party-pants & get your lip fur ready!
