Lasermagnetic presents CARNIVAL EAST

On the 30th of August, Lasermagnetic is throwing a good old fashioned 12 hrs + Carnival Sunday party at THE EAST ROOM (Shoreditch, London), which is a members bar & club with an amazing terrace. Open for one day to all of our friends, there will be balearic scenes and bbq on the panoramic rooftop with Phil Mison (Reverso 68/Cafe del mar) and Paul Mudd (Claremont 56) selecting the music.

Later on in the day ROOTIKAL take over The East Room, dropping some heavy reggae vibes, selected by firm carnival fixtures Ashly Beedle (X Press 2), David Hill (Ballistic Brothers/Nuphonic), Stuart Patterson (Faith) and Faso (Italy).

In the evening, the disco parties continues further down the building, at Sosho where there's a full Funktion One Sound installed. We're teaming up with our good friends Deepfrequency Radio again, so ballons and sound quality Loft Party style are guaranteed!

Gerry Rooney, DJ Harvey's partner in crime in Black Cock Records will be at the helm of things and so will be the excellent Rahaan, who is flying in from Chicago for the event.

Residents Johnny Chingas (LM/Tropical Spacemachine) and the Deepfrequency/London Loft Party crew (Simon Halpin & Guillaume Chottin) will make sure the party gets started and finished off with the right jams.

In the basement, Buzzin' Fly artist Alex Santos from Portugal will be joined by Buzzin' Fly resident Chris Woodward for some deep, tech and hypnotic house music.
