MONDO DISCO is a bi-monthly event at the H&G, set up by Dave Jay & The Project Club's Steve Lee to highlight the many great DJ's and music heads that frequent the MONDO DISCO site alongside some surprising headliners out to further the cause, providing amazing nights of electronic experiments, cosmic oddities and out-n-out shameless stompers. Previous guests have included Ray Mang (Mangled / DFA), Kelvin Andrews (Soul Mekanik), Coyote (Is It Balearic?), Rev Milo Speedwagon (Mish Mash) and The Off-Key Hat (Dissident).

And spinning alongside the MONDO residents will be our good friend, GRAEME FISHER: Graeme is a firm believer in the true spirit of Balearic DJ’ing - where anything goes. Over the past 19 years he’s played at clubs throughout Europe and was Jose Padilla’s resident for his club night at both Pacha & Space in Ibiza back before sponsorship took over the island. Since those days he’s played at cutting edge clubs, festivals and parties all over - Bugged Out, Glastonbury & Bestival being prime examples. He’s a major contributor to the MONDO DISCO site and anyone who heard him play at the H&G will know he rocks it!

POLAROID are DJs and promoters who run the most forward thinking electronic disco party in Leeds at the Wire. They are based around the vibe of quality electronic music but always with the emphasis of creating a real party atmosphere. Polaroid were the first club night in Leeds to invite Pilooski, Simian Mobile Disco, Optimo, In Flagranti, Joakim, Headman and many others to Leeds. Not content with programming cutting edge line ups, Polaroid have secured gigs of their own at some of the most esteemed clubs across Europe such as Fuse in Brussels, Dublin’s Pod and the End in London; earning a reputation as some of the most respected new DJs and tastemakers in the north of England. With gigs at Snowbombing in Austria and Airbound in Croatia already under their belts this year, and more exciting dates being added all the time, 2009 looks set to be quite a year for them.
