Late Night Audio returns to Visions this month, welcoming Brennan Green (New York City) to join residents Danny Clark and Toby Tobias (Rekids) to throw down some jacking disco, tracky house, electronic dub, glitchy boogie, party monsters and moody grooves till the wee hours of Sunday morning.

Brennan's genre-bending DJ-sets are sure to rock any dancefloor taking a crowd through sounds that span disco, house, techno and rock. His New York parties Pop Your Funk (APT, 01-04) and Junky Blues (Flamingo, 99-01) were instrumental in pioneering the current underground disco sound and since then he has toured extensively through Japan, Australia, Europe, North America and Brazil playing at clubs as diverse as London's Fabric and many of the world's best underground parties. He now holds a residency at APT with Neil Aline (CHEZ) with rotating residents such as Tony Humphries, Todd Terry and Mattias Heilbronn and is currently touring in Japan and Australia. Forthcoming are several releases on Chinatown including a collaboration with his Norwegian disco pals Prins Thomas and Lindstrom, plus releases from Runaway and Studio.

After a few months of hibernation whilst cutting and mastering our first record under the LNA label, and collaborations with Sosho, Electric minds and Secret Sundaze, we at Late Night Audio are very happy to be back at Visions this month to launch our own latenightaudio label.

As we continue into 2009 building upon the success of these monthly parties Late Night Audio will now be releasing records of music that we love. You can expect the finest in deep electronic house, Balearic boogie and Italo flavours, all expertly mastered onto luxurious vinyl with graphic artwork from label partner/DJ Danny Clark. The first artist signed to Late Night Audio is our very own discovery - Das Volt. Watch this space...

A long running clubnight, known for its eclectic mix of house and disco guests, but also party promoters involved in various other collaborations...
Residents of LNA are Danny Clark & Toby Tobias.
For each party we will be presenting hand picked labels to showcase their new releases and bring their DJs to entertain our crowd.
Past guests have included Stevie Kotey, Loud E, Tiny Sticks with special guest DJs Mock & Toof and Fabrizio Mammarella, Mark Seven & John Daly.
In support, Toby Tobias from Rekids fame is joined by Late night Audio partner Danny Clark.

A New York disco don comes to town this weekend in the shape of Mr Brennan Green.

This is a very special event for Late Night Audio, as we have been chasing this man for a couple of years now trying to pin him down! Why ??? ..because he's been championing the modern take on disco since the early days of Daniel Wangs label Balihu (he did an amazing remix of Block 16's Elecktrokution with Mr Wang in 2003 Find it here) and nearly every remix he's produced since has had 'keeper', or 'classic' written all over it! - Luke Solomons 'Demons', Mudd and Ahmed Fahkrouns 'Drago', Lindstrom- 'blast of Loser' and Professor Genius on 'This is not an Exit', to name a few.

So we know all about his productions, but we have only heard rumours about his DJ sets - Brennans night 'Pop your Funk' in New York and his residency in APT are legenary, not to mention his regular sets in Japan and Norway!

Brennans visits to London are as hard to track down as a Harvey re-edit, so lets give the glitter ball a dusting off, and get ready to Pop Your Funk!

Make sure you get your £6 adv tickets to avoid the roadblock!

Late Night Audio bring you Das Volt - discovered by LNA's own A&R department - and soon to become a name on everyones lips -

Das Volt kick starts the label with his debut release Gestures - a modern take on the electro boogie sound - pizzicato strings , rhodes and fat bass all blended to create a dancefloor gem .
The second track on this release from Das Volt is Fantasy - its literally a late night moment of a tune - a modern italo disco classic - with epic piano's setting the mood .
Plus on this release - you get 2 remixes of Gestures form Italian dude Fabrizio Mammarella - who does his electroid funk turnout who maximum dancefloor effect , and Toby Tobias of Rekids and LatenIghtAudio completes the package with the Balearic boogie interpretation .

Das volt is the working title for a project developed by kevin l. he works in audio restoration and conservation. the arrangements and sounds created for this particular project hark back to a time when boogie and black soul filled the air. when artists began to experiment with new technologies whilst retaining some of the tried and tested methods of old. true to the genre, he has tried to epitomize this sound by slowly collecting, restoring, and employing some of the same esoteric musical instruments which helped shape that era. in spite of, or because of these limitations, his focus has centered on writing music - rather than contemplating the unlimited options a fully digital system provides. he now feels he has begun to mine his heart felt love for this music and has produced a few diamonds for late night audio with others in the rough, still waiting for that das volt polish.

Lookout for the second and third releases soon to follow with Lexx ( drumpoet community )from Switzerland and another from Das Volt , who incidentally has just scored his first remix for Rekids off the back of this release - somebody stop him !!
